From the moment you arrive in that place the stuff gives you an enjoyable feeling. Very friendly team, it is a nice place to go out with friends or with your date. Excellent meals, experienced chef de cuisine, honest pay and generous service. Warmly recommended.

Always had excellent service, whether on busy Sunday morning or less busy midweek.

Just went to Verdict for the first time. What a hidden gem service and food was super fast. I will definitely be back in the future.

Great food, friendly staff, fast service. The bread they serve is wonderful, especially with the garlic butter (make sure to ask for the garlic butter if they forget). Overall a great experience.

Verdict has a great menu. I've been there several times and it has always been very good; their soups are especially tasty! Verdicts pancakes are amazingly thick and delicious as well!

I love this place! The food is excellent, the prices are fair, the restaurant is clean and cozy, the waitresses are very friendly and the owners are great people!

Use to live by the verdict years ago. It was great to be back. Food is still top notch.

Always go there every time I'm in town. Excellent food and lots of it. Great personal service. I hate eating alone and on my last visit, when no one from the family could join me, the waitress really made me comfortable and took a little extra time to talk to me so I didn't feel quite so on my own, especially as someone from out of town. Efharisto!

They offer a nice variety of fresh food. I like eating here. Staff members are always very nice, pricing is convenient and the place is always clean.

Yummy food & excellent service. Our waitress took great care of us, & offered suggestions. They didn't mind that we sat an extra longing time talking after we finished (but they weren't swamped with folks waiting for a table).

Went for a late breakfast with my wife on a Saturday. Although the restaurant was busy, we had no problem being seated right away. My wife and I both requested decaffeinated coffee and my wife ordered fresh fruit with her breakfast instead of hash browns. When are order came my wife didn't receive the fruit and after we had both got our first cup of coffee, we never received a second cup even though we asked our server ( blonde woman with cat paw tattoos on her neck) for refills, she kept forgetting to bring it. The food was very good however try not to sit in our servers area👎

This is one of my very favorite breakfast places, and it's nice and close to my job down the street! The food is awesome, about average price for fancier breakfast food. They have excellent red velvet French toast, and that is originally what got me coming back, but I've never had anything I didn't like there. There staff is also really friendly. My waitress Kristen went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect even making sure my French toast add sprinkles to dress it up! I'm sure I will be back the next time I have time before work!!

Exceptional customer service, friendly staff, they go out of their way to remember regulars and make small talk (a trend I'm sad to see less often these days)... The food is delicious, big healthy portions, and quality made food. I particularly enjoyed the avocado and bacon omelette, with a cup of coffee to wash it down, and it was a nice touch to have flavored creamers however there was an overwhelming amount of sugar free options (so much that I had to ask for more) but not a problem worth degrading the 5 star review for.

Friendly and fast services. Quite a number of people ate there for 7am Saturday morning and several looked to be old-timers which in my opinion a restaurant has to be pretty good services, reasonable prices and quality/tasting of food to have "old-timers" keep coming back. I wished I will have more opportunities to comes soon.

We went on a Saturday early afternoon and it was pretty busy. My husband and I were both drinking decaf coffee. We had only one cup our entire meal. The waitress kept telling us she was going to bring more, then she would disappear. I ordered an omelette with fresh fruit instead of hash browns and got hash browns anyway. I didn't say anything because I figured she would forget and disappear again. That being said, the food was very good, expect slow just ok service.

Best breakfast in Illinois, we eat out too much, but when it comes down to breakfast we do have our favorites. Every time we come to see grandkids here we always come to the Verdict for breakfast. Like I said best in Illinois.

This place is great, it a classic diner with everything you would expect. I had the patty melt as I see it as the test of a good diner, and it was really good. With generous portions, you better come hungry. This place is a blast from the past and it is just good fun.

The soups,gyros and the staff are all great! The portions are bigger than most restaurants. The owners are very accommodating. Highly recommend this place.

There are so many good restaurants in Wheaton. The Verdict it great! Big portions. High quality. Its on my two restaurant breakfast rotation.

Most diners don’t have good eggs. But at the Verdict all I eat is the eggs. Amazing breakfast! You won’t regret it.

I had an omelet. It was wonderful. We had fun with the server.

This was my second breakfast visit to the Verdict. I’m a country friend steak fiend, so I always judge a restaurant by it. On the first visit, they struggled to get my eggs right, but I’m picky, so I thought I would give them a second shot. This time I just went with scrambled eggs. The steak was overcooked and tough on the edges. It was edible but not great. Everything else was ok and expected fare for a diner. The waitresses tend to rush around and are not as efficient as they should be. They will drop your check on the table soon after the food delivery, then good luck seeing them again for water or coffee. Overall, the place has a lot of room for improvement. This is probably my last time here.

Great food!! I'm not a fan of their policies. My wife tried to substitute something & they said no that we had to order separately. I'm ok with paying extra but not ok with ordering an extra meal or food that I don't want. They really need to practice that customers are always right & take care of the customers needs.

I've been coming here since I was young and I don't think I'll be returning. Ordered food over the phone and arrived to pick it up for myself and a friend. Place was not fully busy but everyone was running around like it was swamped. Went to pay and a waitress took my card and disappeared. Finally the owner came to ring up my food and I asked for bread with my favorite chicken rice and lemon soup. They then refused to give me bread because they "don't come with sandwiches" although every time I've eaten here before this has never been an issue. They talked amongst eachother, threw some bread in a bag and said "next time no bread" if you are that cheap to where you don't want to even give your customers your fresh bread that you are known for, then you need to reevaluate your standards. I won't be coming back

Awesome savory crepes!!! The Popeye: spinach, scrambled egg, bacon and cheese blend. Whole wheat toast and coffee!! Coffee cups are nice and large, good time between fill-ups. I recommend and will be back.

Would have been a higher if not for the flies in the restaurant. Food was good. Service was good. Portions were great for the price. Just not a fan of having to swat away flies while I'm trying to eat.

It was nice very small the cheese burgers remind me of burger king. And the fries taste homemade the chicken noodle soup wasn't bad
